Writing again?
I don't remember when was the last time I actually properly blogged. It must have been years. Have been wanting to write again but there was always something more 'interesting', something more distracting to do other than blog. Cos what else is easier than not thinking, just scrolling right?
Anyways, so, now that I have relatively more free time, to actually sit down and write (rather than choosing to sleep all the time, like back in medschool), I have chosen to start blogging again.
My aim is to do it AT LEAST weekly. Probably every Saturday night or Sunday morning? Just like a quick recap of what has been going on in the past week. So pretty much a recollection of my week, in terms of what I have been up to, what were the good and the bad things that have happened, what have I learnt.
This time, I hope to see more personal growth of myself. The last time I blogged, the blog covered mostly feelings. But I was a teenager then. I have crossed into my mid 20s now. There should be some personal growth yes?
I'll start with this from now on, for every blog post. Three things I have learnt in the past week, three things I wish I could do better, and three things I discovered I would like to do in the near future. Just so I can keep track of my goals, and lessons I've learnt along the way and how I could have handled my mistakes better.
So here goes:
----
Things I have learnt in the past week:
1. I care too much about what people think of me.
I realised this on my recent trip to Yogyakarta. Like when I was taking pictures in the tourist attractions, I tend to care so much about others that I could not free myself and do what I feel like doing.
2. I don't treat my partner well.
He deserves so much better for all that he has done for me. I'm sorry for my shortcomings, Y.
3. VSCO is everyone's best friend.
Hahaha this counts, right?
Things I wish I could do better:
1. Be more understanding and patient with my partner.
2. Plan my shopping well in advance so I don't overshop.
3. Think before actually saying or conveying some information.
Things I discovered I would like to do in the near future:
1. Scuba dive.
This stays. And I will make sure I get my license by this year.
2. Caligraphy.
3. Watch a play at KLPAC.
----
That's all for now!
